By Yabu Meizan (1853-1934.) Throughout his lifetime, Yabu Meizan became one of the most renowned and talented Satsuma artists of the Meiji Period (1868-1912.) He was considered the "Prince" of Satsuma ware and his pieces are highly sought after. While these two vases do not exactly match, featuring subtle variations in their decoration, they complement each other beautifully, creating a stunning pair. Each vase stands 4.75" tall.
